Graduated from Peking University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (formerly Pharmaceutical Sciences Major, Beijing Medical University).
Ph. D. from the University of Minnesota.
Senior official, chief physician, and senior academician in Roche, Novartis, and Johnson & Johnson.
Dr. Wei has more than 20-year experience in formulation R&D and business management. He had participated in the establishment of FDA’s Guideline for Modified Release Solid Oral Dosage Forms Scale-Up and Postapproval Changes (SUPAC-MR).
After returning to China, Dr. Wei founded Innovaco Pharmeceuticals, Inc., and focused on the development of advanced formulation technologies and products, including new drug formulations, new drugs under 505(b)(2) regulation, high-tech barrier generic drugs. The company has developed ten formulation technology platforms and obtained 12 authorized patents, and certified as National High-Tech Enterprise.
