Postdoctoral fellow and instructor at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
Associate principal scientist at Schering-Plough Corporation and then Merck & Co.
Dr. Zhang was the first to report the induction and activation of regulatory T cells (Treg cells) in animals. Besides clinical practice, he has more than 20-year experience in biomedical research and new drug development. Since 2004, he has led and participated in the R&D of a series of anti-inflammation and antitumor drugs. In 2018, Dr. Zhang founded BroadenBio Co., Ltd., serving as chairman and CEO.
